Meet Max Covert, ARNP

Max Covert grew up under the guidance of a physician-father in Atlanta, Ga. After graduating from high school, he attended Texas A&M University and obtained dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical and Bioenvironmental Science. He worked for three years as the Director of Research and Development at Immuno-Concepts in Dallas, Texas before attending medical school at Spartan Health Science School of Medicine in Vieux Fort, St Lucia. Max also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas and has practiced in cardiovascular intensive care for over 7 years. Max obtained his Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and then specialized in pulmonary critical care and vascular access before moving to Florida.
Max is Board Certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and holds state licenses in Florida and in Texas. He now lives in Clearwater, Florida with his wife, Ruth, and is currently a vascular access specialist with Venous Solutions. He also works in musculoskeletal medicine with Gulf Coast Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, and in critical care medicine with Palms of Pasadena Hospital.
