Simply put, I was a skeptic", remembers Dr. Kevin Lee. "But my dad insisted that I try chiropractic since I was experiencing numbness in my right hand after a college hockey injury. I was reluctant, but made the appointment to see Dr. Burns, the local chiropractor.
"It was amazing," continue Dr. Lee. "I'll never forget that first adjustment. It was as if a tremendous weight had been lifted from my shoulders. That's when I decided to be a chiropractor.

He then graduated Cum Laude with a degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, The Fountainhead of Chiropractic. At Palmer, he was an academic and athletic All-American. Dr. Lee was one of two in his class to be nominated for the John Connelly Memorial Outstanding Graduate Award. He continues to strive for professional excellence by attending many post-graduate courses.
He served on the sports medicine team for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League as their Chiropractic Physician from 1996-1998 and 2000-2011. "We love skeptics," smiles Dr. Lee. "I still remember the concerns and apprehension I had when I went for the first time. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and attempt to over communicate. Patients appreciate that. In a sense, we try to take the patients point of view."
